I think precision will send you a mock up turbo if you send them a (refundable) deposit.

The mid frame Innovative 88 on our shop car has a T6 inlet, I think you're correct in thinking that precision is the only one that makes a T4 flanged 88.

Have you ran your car yet this year with the new motor?

General question...Precission is the only one that makes the mid frame 88, obviously. Other than smaller physical size for tight engine compartments, is there any advantage or disadvantage to a T4 flanged 88 vs a T6 flanged 88? I got to thinking about that last night. Airflow and IATs any different and make an improvement for pump gas applications? Obviously there is a big difference in turbine size and outlet size for DPs, but how much is theoretically being left on the table by just being in a mid vs thumper frame? All else being equal.

Dave do you remember the guy over on ls1dotcom with the tti race kit who put the PTE88 in there., i looked at his pics and one problem was the water pump, he had to use an electrical one. as the outlets would have hit the turbo., on my setup it was very close to the pump as well.
i do believe he did get it to fit though, if you do some searching overthere you can problably find his posts

id let you borrow mine, but i need to finish it up this month...hopefully.

Ok first, PTE does have the mock-ups. If you can't get one, give me a call Dave, we will call PTE for you. Next, the PTE88 T4 vs T6 leaves about 250-300hp at the table due to the T4 compressor cover, and T4 flange. Wheels are the same in both. As for the size of the PTE88, compressor cover is the same as the T76, the only thing different is the turbine housing is larger and comes in either a 4" vband, and 3" donut flange. We have been able to squeeze 1012rwhp with the 3" donut flange.
