I'd like to compare:
-Trap Speed
-RWHP
-Total Race Weight
If you participate, feel free to note any issues you think that skew your numbers, but if you think your numbers are really off then maybe you should not even post... What I really want to try to do is try to see if we can see any patterns... I'd really like to compare 3800lb raceweight setups with lighter cars.
Here's mine:
-144.67mph best, two other passes at 143mph
-754rwhp best, was 680rwhp the week before I raced
-3450 raceweight
-I think my gearing was perfect, I was doing 6800-7000 through the traps with my 3.50 gear/28x10.5 slick combo. I think cooler air (I raced in 87F temps) will help me hit around 147mph. I might also try winding out the combo to 7000-7200 a few times on shifts and see what happens there.

John, I cant confirm 600 rwhp, but I ran 11.05 at 129.3 at 3860#'s and from all the calculators I have seen, I must have been close to or more than that.
last dyno session was at 8.5 #'s and 93 octane (505 mustang dyno) but on that pass I had 50/50 112 and 93 in the tank, and was up to 10-10.5 psi.
At BG, I am prolly gonna run some good gas and have the boost up close to 10 again, although on nitto's I dont plan on any spectacular et's. should see close to 128-129 traps again tho...
.
Coming to the m event this fall? hopefully the motor I ordered willbe installed, and with the kmember and arm's (and cage
) will still be close to 3700 raceweight and hope to run mid 130's.

I dont know how much rwhp I have, but perhaps some of you guys can speculate ??
I was racing at the weekend. Venue is semi portable, ( old airfield ) so we only get 60fts, ET's and terminals.
My car weighs about 3700lbs, using Nitto 555R 245/50x16 with mods in sig.
My best run at the weekend was 11.50 @ 132mph, M6.
That was with a crap 2.1s 60ft. I just cant get it to grip at all on the launch. All my 60fts were around 2.1 or higher.
All my runs were circa 11.5-11.7 with 130-133mph terminals.
Also did a terminal speed from standing start to 1.25miles, where I topped 183mph.
That was at about 5850rpm in 5th from viewing the datalogs. Im well pleased...My car is as aerodynamic as a brick.
How much power would that take ?

The 3700lbs would include me being on board.
I know the quarter has massive room for improvement, if I could get it to grip off the line, but the top speed I managed amazed me.
I'm crossing the line just shy of 6k in 4th, generally shifting at 6k.
I never tried revving it harder, although it will rev to 6500 easily enough.

550rwhp 124mph with race weight of 3950lbs. Clutch was slipping bad which resulted in a 2.4 60ft that run (Not from wheel spining). Have new clutch in with added boost and going to try soon.
