Any STS users out there?
I'm not putting down any power through first. Could it be a transmission problem? Nelson Performance did my tune and I feel like they should be experts at it by now. (EVEN THOUGH they stole my computer and haven't seemed to return any of my calls for a week!!! An entirely different story though.) So I'm thinking that it's not the tune. Any suggestions?
I think I was told that you got tuned by DTP. Jeff tuned my car with the TR224 cam and I put down 367rwhp, took it to the track and ran 12.3 @ 115mph.Maybe you are just not getting into the power band quick enough, what gears are you running?

Let me get this straight, your complaining when you havent had it tuned correctly.
However, Turbos, and certainly STS kits are not always good from a dig...they make for fun street cars. Hell, look at the 600+HP Supras that still only net 1.9 60s.
If you keep paying to tune it, and you havent got all the supporting items, thats your fault. Hate to point out the obvious, but you NEED a higher stall, built for turbo applications, and the fuel pump etc...then start spending your $1000 on tuning. If you dont build the boost at the line, you wont run for ****. While your at it, get some tires so when you do launch under boost, your car can hook and book rather than spin half track and you post up "WTF is wrong with my car" again. Listen to these guys, TC, Fueling, tuning, Tires.
What's screaming in your face right now is TUNING!!!!! The tune you have sucks if you are at 13.7. 13.7 isn't horribly lean, its flat out parts breaking, motor destroying lean on a boosted application.
So what if you've spent 1000 bucks on tunes, seems your tuner(s) suck ***** at tuning so why go back???? Find a decent place to tune your ride. Another member suggested you go to jeff creach...go to him whats it going to hurt...if anything your can't run any worse after his tune.
Safe street/strip tune on a boosted app should be 11.5 to 11.7-1 PERIOD.
Do a leakdown test on your engine, with that tune I wouldn't doubt there is damage to the pistons...especially if you are beating on it at the track. First start off by checking you plugs, prolly melted off a few electrodes...check for bits of aluminum on the plugs....if there is a lot...definately do a leak down or have on performed for you.
Some advice, don't beat on the car, take it to the track or dyno until you know the tune is in the ball park or optimized. If not you'll be posting that you tossed a piston and blame the STS kit. You can't just slap the kit on the car, get a tune that you know sucks and run decently.
On a stock car with an STS kit at 5-7 psi any LS1 should be in the 12s.
couldn't have said it better myself. Good post Cat3
