Man I wonder do you think its the iron block or the 15" rims?

or a combination, this is what im worried about on my setup, since I have the skinnies, but I dont have an iron block. but the phamspeed goes under the Kmember, BAD news is though I have a lowered car.

the iron block and turbo is weighing you down. You could do a few things 1. Get yourself some hal/qa1 adj shocks and springs. 2. Get stock height springs but a higher spring rate. 3. Try taking some weight off the front end like move the battery to the back, remove the air pump(not really needed, just for start up emmisions stuff) remove front swaybar, light weight brakes are just a few things you can do.

I suggest that you first kill two birds with one stone. Get yourself some qa1 shocks and springs. You can raise/lower the car to what you need, and the second benifit is that you get more weight transfer to the rear wheels. I just put them on a few months ago and it is quite a difference on how the front end picks up and plants the rear tires. After you do that you can still remove the weight up front as an added bonus.

they are not really good shocks for handling meaning if you auto cross there are much better shocks available. They are however better than the stock garbage that came with the car. This also depends on what shocks you get. There are the gen f shocks that are a 70/30 shock, the r-series which are a 90/10 shock and than there are the double adjustable (compression and rebound). What type of driving do you do. How much handling would you like...

the adjustment range goes from full drag loose, to stock, to stiffer then stock.

they are not the ideal handling shock, however, they do handle better then stock, so they're still a upgrade.

eh, but theres still litterally thousands of guys who have them without problems.
im not sure what your specific problem was, but i wouldnt knock the most popular and loved drag strut for these cars.. they're effective at what they do..

i just wish they made them for 3rdgens too...
