Default supercharger and stock bottom

my car right now is bone stock as far as the motor goes. I was wondering if it is possible to bolt on a supercharger without damaging the motor ? if not what has to be done or what should be done ? thanks in advance

fuel system (pump and injectors) and a professional tune and you should be fine if you don't go crazy.

If you're looking for longevity, stick to 6-7 pounds. If you're looking for a lot of fun before your next longblock upgrade, boost it at 10-13 pounds and drive the **** out of it!

about how many horse can i expect out of 6-7 or 10-13

I've done both a ATI D-1SC and a TT setup on a stock motor. Boost 9-12 lbs. Never had a day of trouble with the motor. Spraying a little meth doesn't hurt.

yea man 6psi is fine its a good number for a dd, but like the man sayss 11-12 is were the partys at!!!

On my Mustang Chassis Dyno, an LS1 F Body that has headers and a cat back with no other mods will be in the 310 to 320 rwhp range. When we add an ATI ProCharger D-1SC at our recommended 8 psi, the power level soars up to 440 to 450 rwhp. (This would be close to 500 rwhp on a DynoJet Chassis Dyno non eddy current dyno.) We see 500 rwhp on my dyno as the safe limit to longetivity with the stock pistons. We've added camshafts into the above combination and been at the 500 rwhp mark, which is still going to give you a dependable combination, but it is at the limit.
440 to 450 rwhp is going to give you enough power that you will have to spend some time and money getting the chassis to hook, as the tires will be spending a lot of time grasping for traction... Bob
