supercharger and stock bottom my car right now is bone stock as far as the motor goes. I was wondering if it is possible to bolt on a supercharger without damaging the motor ? if not what has to be done or what should be done ? thanks in advance

On my Mustang Chassis Dyno, an LS1 F Body that has headers and a cat back with no other mods will be in the 310 to 320 rwhp range. When we add an ATI ProCharger D-1SC at our recommended 8 psi, the power level soars up to 440 to 450 rwhp. (This would be close to 500 rwhp on a DynoJet Chassis Dyno non eddy current dyno.) We see 500 rwhp on my dyno as the safe limit to longetivity with the stock pistons. We've added camshafts into the above combination and been at the 500 rwhp mark, which is still going to give you a dependable combination, but it is at the limit.
440 to 450 rwhp is going to give you enough power that you will have to spend some time and money getting the chassis to hook, as the tires will be spending a lot of time grasping for traction... Bob
