How the hell did you spend so much ****** money? Even isya spent 20k on teh engine adn 10 on teh turbo you still have 10k to go. Adn that is VERY generous. I know you make a ton of power but 40k is out of control.
I spent 11k so far with out driveline mods adn i figure another 5k adn ill have a forged engine adn a MUCH bigger fuel system. GL man

This might sound unconventional to some of you, but I actually sat down and started a budget. I'm young, I don't have a ton of cash, and I want some things other than a fast turbo car... so I figured out what I'd need for a 650rwhp car, etc. Well before I knew it I was at $25k.... so I started trimming the fat, making some compromises and price shopping... got it down to about $15k (including the car). Now that I can live with.
I'll post my budget up tonight... you guys are welcome to copy it if you want.

5K for the SC, pump and injectors.
1500 headers and exhaust.
550 LS1 Edit
650 cam/springs/pushrods
Total is around 7700 for the power mods.
Those are the power mods, but i had to go through supporting mods such as 3 clutches ($3200), Chromoly 3" DS( $300), Strange 12 bolt ($2400)
I also have a full suspension done cost around $2000 with wider wheels and tires another $1800.
Now i need a good forged short block with FMIC which will cost another 4-5K. Then i might need a custom fuel system which is another $800.
This sucks now that i look at it all together LMAO.

I've lost track. Figure somewhere around $45k with the car. And I haven't even gotten into the big stuff yet. I probably have another $10k to spend, and I'll be putting down around 650 rwhp. A lot of this stuff can be cut down if you know exactly what goals you have. I started with mine, and then changed my mind. So now I am replacing the parts that I already spent $$ on (i.e. injectors aren't big enough now).

the best way to do is not keep track, it will make you sick if you do. refering to the people that dont have 6+ dgit incomes. i hope that its all worth it in the end. i got off lucky due to what i paid for the car but man it does add up fast.
