Default Time for a chute

Went to the W2W late model challenge at Milan on Friday and ran some new best.

Launched hard and shook the tires but stayed in it.
60'- 1.40
1/8- 5.88
MPH- 120.61
1/4- 9.10
MPH- 152.50

Launched a little harder, spun, lifted slightly to straighten.
60'- 1.41
1/8- 5.88
mph- 120.92
1/4- 9.10
mph- 153.21

First round and was a fast light so boost was low on launch.
60'- 1.55
1/8- 121.28
1/4- 9.25
mph- 153.04

Second round and the car was skating bad but stayed in it.
60'- 1.41
1/8- 5.91
mph- 120.33
1/4- 9.14
mph- 152.60

Big thanks to Kurt and crew at W2W for building me an awesome motor. It has gone a lot farther at this weight than I ever thought it would. Race weight was 3,865 lbs. Boost was 25 psi. Running 110 fuel and spraying Meth.

Real men pack chutes....

I'm getting closer and closer to needing one on a 2.0 I built...

Good runs.. A little more time tuning and getting used to the car and it will get even better..

Thanks for showing up and racing. That was the first time I seen this "heavyweight" run. Very cool.

Damn you go any faster and you could stay ahead of Steve on a few of his tire spinning runs.

With those trap speed, and that much weight, I'll bet it's just as much a handful to get that thing stopped as it is to get it down the track. I'm guessing the brakes aren't too far from filing a formal complaint.

Congrats on the new best. 8's are only a cool day away. What was the outcome of the racing? I think you were set to go against the Stenod car when we left. How did Steve do?

The Stenod car rolled thru the lights when he went on the brake giving me the win. Putting me against Steve in the finals. They made him run before I got up there because he didn't think I was going to run again so soon. They barely finished before 12.

Thanks everyone.
Within the next 2 weeks I'll either be taking some weight out or turning it up some and going for an 8. But I have an aluminum Kirkey seat to replace the 2 stockers. Taking off the full exhaust. Plus have an aluminum sumped fuel tank to replace the stocker that I'm having to run full to keep from sucking air on launch.

I'm running Strange front brakes with stock rears and the car stops fine.

Running 28x10.5W MT Drags that came off the race car and have alot of passses on them. Will be changing to a fresher set we have lying around soon.
There is video on yellowbullet.com but you have to download like 15 minutes of video to see my passes. Hopefully someone in the Stenod crew got some videos.
