No intercooler. Made 514 on the dynojet with a 10.5:1 tune and 16 degrees of timing. I'm going to put some skinnies on the front(running chrome 5 spokes now) and do some tuning in search of 10's on the stock motor.

Any type of head/cam work done on your car? Very impressive numbers.

No heads or cam what so ever. Not even valve springs. The air fuel is very safe at 10.5:1.

Thanks Guys

hahah.... these guys just cant believe it can they....

It doesnt matter that its a "rear mount" its still a turbo and will still produce great numbers....

the reason most STS kits dont make the numbers is because people buy them with a small budget and dont add the "necessary" items to really make it go....

even his kit is still lacking some very important parts....

but by this spring i predict him "crowding" the 9's....

heads, cam, intake, transbrake, more CI, forged, lower race weight, and N20 will make his car scream... or rather "whoosh!"

go get em jesse

He has one important thing you dont, the t67. More efficient with higher boost numbers. Your also sporting a power hungry 9". Im sure Jessie knows he will hit the valve spring limit sooner or later but like me wants to know where the limit is to the stock setup.

I just don't turn the motor hard. The stock rev limiter points are set and I've not had any trouble. Once I get my 10 second pass on the stock motor I'm going to finish some other stuff.

The transbrake isn't going to happen till I toast another 4L60 which I hope isn't soon. The two step works pretty good though. Going to see how it launches on nitrous compared to the two step here in a couple weeks.

longrange4u: just turn the boost up.

Did you take out your cats red? I got the two step too, but it says do not use with cats...

Public: your right... I have a 67 on the way as a matter of fact... the T-60 is a temp thing. How much do you think the 9" robs from my HP?

My guess is around 20hp. You get traded strenght for that 20hp in return.

I had a damn 2 step bought and sent the MO and everything and like no contact for a week. So another week goes by and I get my MO back in the mail with note the guy sold his car with it. I was really looking forward to this to test my exhaust system for leaks on a lift among other things.

Oh yeah long gone. Ky has no emissions, at least where I live. I don't think their is that much difference in the rear assemblies. Maybe 5-10 I would say.

longgonb4u that cam is crazy i read the specs on that and was way leary on it it seems that it has good exhaust but way low on the intake durations i imagine you would have to spin that thing to the moon to make power when i redynoed my car power from 3300 to 4000 tha car made 390-420 hp at 8.5 psi and peak power came on at 5800 at 520 with c12 tourq was stupid it made 430lbs of tourq at 4000 and peak at 5600 at 580 cam specs in my sig

Yeah I dont understand LE on this cam either. Not enough intake to do much of anything then crazy exhaust and the crazy LSA. The GT2-3 is soo right and that one is, well what it is. I think the GT2-3 has more power potential given the higher lift #'s and LSA.

My AF is 11:6....
I suspect that your cam is harming you. You've got a ton of exhaust duration, and may well be seeing some reversion. That is NOT a turbo cam. I realize that changing it is a lot of work, but that would likely help your performance a great deal, as well as the 67mm turbo.

Also, STS seems to be shipping too many of the 67's w/ the .96 exhaust housing...too big. I'm running the .81 [although I have both to play with] and like the spool. 3000rpm in 3rd, and it is ON!

Last spring it was quite interesting on the LS1GTO board, looking at the progressively faster 1/4's being turned-in by the NJ fellows. I am not a drag racer, but do look to see what happens once my LS2GTO is dialed in. STS is eager to see as they don't anticipate actually releasing a kit for several more months.

Not a cam for turbo? I called Lingenfelter and they were the ones that strongly reccomended my cam for the application.

Hmmm good info on the 67 though thanks!
