ATI damper question
For pining the crank there are 2 ways from the end and the side I used the side method. If you look around on ati-dampner site you will find the pinning kit for around 100.00. You can check with Bob@Epp as well he has the kits, as well.
Hope this helps.
Heres what I've got:Tha ATI Damper:

And the ProCharger Pulley:

I can not for the life of me unbolt the 6 torx headed bolts from the damper. I don't want to strip them, so I stopped trying. Upon inspection, it appears tho that even if I do get them off that the center "hub" will still be inside of the damper if I take the piece out being held on by the torx bolts. Now looking at the procharger pulley, there is only a small hole big enough for the crank bolt to go thru it. Definately not big enough for the hub to go thru. Can someone please explain to me how the **** these things go together! Do I even have the correct damper? I'd hate to think I was sold the wrong part. MAn- this is the first fuggin thing at the start of my install. I hope the rest doesn't go this bad
If I don't get an answer or explanation on how to do this today, I'm just gonna get a stock damper. I don't wanna screw around with this damn thing all day long
This is a major PITA
You need to either call ATI Procharger or ATI dampners and get the 8 rib 7& 5/8 drive pulley that bolts directly to the front of you superdampner.
Check you head unit and make sure that it is a 8 rib as well, not a big deal though you will probaly need to re size that pulley as well for your boost needs.
You do not need to unbolt the torxs bolts from the dampner when you get the 8 rib pulley it bolts up using the open holes that are left, simple install.
If worst were to come you could go back to the stock dampner and that 6 rib driv pully. But why you have the most expensive part of the 8 rib system in you hand . 8 rib is a must..
