Default Did i smoke a ring or something else???

Was out hanging w/ some folks off the board tonight and a few of us made some vids which should be up within the next few days (Armageddon w/ his turbo SS, Spdm75 w/ his procharged TA, and my SS)
Anyway, i did a few 1, 2, 3 pulls @12psi on C16 on the street and the car pulled hard but then kinda fell on its face up top around 6k or so and was also blowing out alot of white smoke. Got back to the parking lot and was still smoking a good bit. Oil pressure looked ok. Drove back home and tried gettin on it a few times but it was real hesitant and didnt wanna build boost. What you guys think????
I did kinda crunch the filter earlier this evening going threw a rough intersection but it looked ok though
Maybe im being paranoid but i figured id see what yall thought

Anytime you get white smoke out of the tailpipes is a sad sight indeed! It sounds like at the very least you popped a head gasket. Bob

It was blue smoke... That guy with the Honda was an idiot. The more I think about it the more I realise your car has always done that. It's just a loose motor... If it was a headgasket it would be consuming water, yours hadn't moved.

Ryan, before you drive it again, pop the hood, and check over all the fluids.

Or for a white stain on the block. Maybe they are just lifting on a WOT pass.

Are you still planning on moving to FL? There is a good # of street cars that want to run your turbo car at Orlando Speedworld.

I'll be moving in the 1st of October. I've got an RSX I daily drive, so I don't plan on bringing my camaro down unless there is something going on. I found out that the place I'm staying in "Tuscany Bay" is a hell hole... So that makes me want to bring it even less. If I can find a storage unit for it at a decent price I'll keep it down there. I'm always up for some racing

That sounds cool. Eric ( Next) lives in the same subdivision as me and keeps his Camaro at a storage closeby he said its very inexpensive so you might want to PM him about that.

What's your oil pressure look like? Perhaps it's high enough that the turbo is getting too much oil for the drain line to keep up and you're blowing oil at that point. Is there a flow restrictor in the oil line yet or not?

sounds like fuel problems. i'd be a little concerned if it was blowing a lot of smoke out, whether blue or white, cause that motor was just built.

Yea, from what I've seen he's got a sweet ride!

If I take mine apart again, the next time it sees the light of day it'll be a drag car... I might leave it together long enough to take it down south a couple times.
