Incon TT Intercooler Mod and Question
Does anyone have pics for the Intercooler Mod? Does anyone know of a Intercooler/N20 Mod where you spray a small shot into the intercoolers to cool the air charge down a bit?

Re: Incon TT Intercooler Mod and Question
I have fans on the coolers, cut the wheel well, and moved the coolant overflow.
I can take pics of them in the next day or so.
But, IMHO the fans don't do a whole lot. Sitting, the temps will still creep w/ the fans on or off.
I see 20* increases in IAT through the 1/4 with ot without them running.
The IAT's do come down faster at speed w/ the wells opened up though.

Re: Incon TT Intercooler Mod and Question
Hey!!! No "crackin'" on the boost ****. I REALLY know what I am doing with it. The car is not a stage 2 yet, although it does have all the components installed. It made 446rwhp with 5.5psi on the gauge with the stock cats and stock catback. All stock internals except for REV springs and retainers. I am working on a slight timing issue as it made these power #'s at 14 degrees and in about 90+ ambients. I tried to pick a race this weekend with Jerry Crews (LPE 226mph car) at the Race Rock corvette gathering but I was only willing to turn up the boost to 7psi. On the other hand, Jerry can top 13psi now and has hit over 700rwhp and is building more. I couldn't get him to bite on giving me 10 car lengths and then running 1/8th mile. Where's the 'busa when I need it.
Coming very soon; tubular k-member, a-arms, QA1's, and some goodies from BMR.

Re: Incon TT Intercooler Mod and Question
Ryan,
The auxiliary injectors are not being used right now. They are controllable at RPM(x) and boost(y) levels on a map. They don't operate until needed so the car retains complete factory computer control while "cruising around" or emissions testing. The only other add ons in the fuel system are the Walbro GSS342 in tank and adj. fuel pressure regulator. I see 58psi at idle and it rises 1:1 with boost.

Azam,
How you doin'? How is the car? I haven't heard from you in awhile. Last thing I had seen was that your car had "started" after the flood.

I am doing good Tom, thanks. I will finally moving back home after 4months of redoing the house after the flood!! The car is running perfect. It got new carpet, some relays were changed (window/turn signal), new Hals and now is better than new <img src="images/icons/grin.gif" border="0">
