for a stock motor??
i'll have to dig up the scans from the initial dyno runs at ~6 psi. The timing wasn't much higer than that for pump gas, if at all.
That timing "feels" right for midrange, but it can go back up past peak torque.

Harlan is working on a box that will let us M6 turbo guys (other uses for it too I'm sure) build boost while staging. Right now we see 15" of vacuum cause our motors are not under any load while the A4 guys stall the motor up against the converter and build boost while staging. This will definitely help us out of the hole. I think it is just a rev limiter basically but Im sure he will chime in.

yep, that's it <img src="images/icons/smile.gif" border="0">

good for consistant launches w/ a big stall, trans brake, delay boxes, etc, etc, etc.
secondary rev-limiter is the simple explaination.
I'm working on it right now actaully <img src="images/icons/smile.gif" border="0">
