Has anyone ran more then 30 lbs of boost?
Im just curious, i see people like harlan running like 25 or 27 lbs, i dont recall anyone running more then 30 psi.
If not, who holds the record for most psi sustained?
If so, what how much was it?
In addition to the above, what kind of numbers where they putting down(if recordable), what kind of turbo, and must be on ls based motor(c5r is ok too)
it can be supercharger or turbo

I know there is a guy that runs 38-42 on his Firebird. I dont remember much more. I know he was holding a big record at the time. I think it was fastest 4th gen. He owns a tuning shop around here somewhere. Definatly sick!! GL

You will need ARP head studs, copper head gasket with an oring job and a bore size that leaves enough room where cyls meet for sealing.
With a ICS titan SCE gasket you can skip the o-ring job.
On turbos those pushing the limits run in the 40# range.. Its a 4 LARGE ARP stud per cylinder rig just like a FI LSX engine..
Have the head and block machined properly to the right straightness and suface finish specs for a SCE gasket.. Then tq the studs using ARPs lube and proceedure to the letter.

Mike brown & steve turley has stated that they have ran over 30psi
i think wormboy and big rick have done there passes on "low boost" so they havent ran any high psi
hardcore has probably aproached close to 30psi if not over on there custom ls-similar-style block (more head bolts though)
