What are some good boost controllers?

What are some good boost controllers? I need to find a way to be able to adjust the boost in small increments. I dont want it to spike up and then come down to the desired boost. Any ideas. I would even try a manual one if it doesnt spike around. <img src="gr_sad.gif" border="0">

Re: What are some good boost controllers? Right now, i'm using a granger valve. I get a slight spike in boost.
I'm pretty sure some have used the Profec-B for boost control.
During my build up, I'm installing these....
i really prefer a manual controller, and my right foot to manage boost.
W/ the right sized regulator, and a dual port wastegate, small adjustments are quite easy.
then again, there's nothing wrong w/ adjusting the wastegate itself <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

All that clutter of testing equipment and wires. I might have to try to granger valve. Is you engine still running after all those 10 psi blasts? <img src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />

Re: What are some good boost controllers? I have the Profec-B. Haven't had much of a chance to use it as I'm getting 5psi with it off, and have only run race gas once. But I've ordered some Torco, an adjustable torque arm, LCA's, and a driveshaft loop. Within two weeks I hope to be running 10psi!! I get spikes with the Profec-B, but that may be due to my dump being open. I have the feeling the spike will be less when I'm capped up.

Re: What are some good boost controllers? I bought the Profec-B and it works very well...I was originally going to buy the APEXi AVC-R, but I was told that the Profec-B is better for handling smaller boost amounts.

Just curious. Most of the info I am finding on the web is written in broken english and doesnt really give me any valuable info.

Re: What are some good boost controllers? I am liking the new Blitz one right now, I think its the SB i-D or something. I think first of all it would fit nicely in the interior. It also logs the data, and it can input other data from the computer to watch and record. Although not sure what all will work with our cars.
I like the APEXi AVC-R with its ability to set boost by RPM, but I am again not sure if the RPM input will work with our PCM. And this one is the extreme of rice looking...I dont see how this would possibly fit into a 97+ camaro interior.
The HKS EVC IV or whatever is pretty cool too. It has that sorta "fuzzy logic" type thing going on. And looks like it would fit in the interior a bit better than others.
The Greddy units look a bit aging to me, but they still have good features.
The MSBC-1 or whatever looks like its older than the dinosaurs but it also has some cool features and supposedly works pretty good. A pair of Buicks had these in GMHTP.

I figured that they were giving me the right info since the controller that I ended up buying from them (on their recommendation) was less expensive then the one that I was going to buy.
