what did i mess up
I pulled drivers side because b1strims were showing +25% while b2strims bounced around 0%. My thoughts were that a pushrod was bent on the intake valve on one of the drivers side cylinders thus creating the lean condition. While it was running I unplugged the injectors one by one and number 3 was the only one that didnt create more missing so it seems thats the dead cylinder. Now I've got to determine if its the injector or something else. I pulled the plug and think it looks lean but I need to pull another to compare. These are new 38# injectors ..about 3 months old. What else would you check? I thought I'd put the pushrods back in....pull off plug wires to that side....turn over the engine and see if number 3 was wet with gas....is there a better/easier way to check if the injectoring is spraying?

The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
I've seen guys post before about cylinders 1+3 showing misfires. It ended up being a broken valvespring everytime.
Thats where I would focus my attention.
Hope that helps.

We just eyeballed the springs...rotated them and pressed on them while they are on the head. I'm convinced it would idle worse if it were a valve spring but who knows at this point.
You typically running too rich? Fuel can kill them..
A bad spring normally shows up on the opposite side, ie: Cyls' 1 and 2, not 1 & 3 in my exp..
