I use 100 octane cause I dont have the timing curve that I want yet. Need to get off my *** and order ls1edit. The oil tap is on the oil filter adapter so it is feed by the ls1 oil pump and gravity drained back into the oil pan. No cat....fuel upgrades are the 340 walbro...10 gauge wiring from pump to front of car and lucas 38 lb/hr injectrs. I'm also using a holley adjustable fuel press regulator.

so do you think i should use the oiler cooler/pump or do you think its just more things to go wrong.
Cablebandit you pushing about 475hp through the cutout arnt you?
DO you think youll hit the 500 mark once you get it properly tuned, or do you think youll just be able to use pump gas?
I want-need-getting greedy for the 500!

I have turbotech 60-1 kit with the computer tuning and fuel upgrades from turbotech. I'm a 98 A4 Z28.
Last tank I got 22 because of some intown driving about and a couple kick a$$ joyrides. Had the speedo pegged and then some...what a rush! Gotta love that cold MT air.

HMmm....I dynod 471 but havent put that down at the track yet. My best mph is 122.4 with 3720 race weight so thats getting closer. I probably could use 93 octane with the proper timing curve. Right now I have a max of 24 degrees of timing. Once I get some more money I'm going to get ls1edit and set my curve to ramp down around 4000rpms and then ramp back up at 5500. 471 was with KR at 4900 rpms...probably woulda made 480 or so. Ls6 intake might get me to 500rwhp but I really want to work on the exhaust routing with the turbotech kit. I think a bigger downpipe and better designed turbo manifold would help a lot with spool time and get to 500rwhp with no other changes. Rob Raymer apparently has this worked out so we shall see.

Yes we shall see.
hmm another 500 bucks for an intake, think the down pipe would be cheaper.
Looking at my piped up kit it looks like some of the exhaust tubes should be bigger.
Another thing how can you tell what size your turbo is, mine is suppose to be a T-76, but i dont know how you tell. Its big but how much bigger is it then a T-60, just to make sure i didnt get ripped off.
BUt the turbo is about 8 inches in diameter 4" inlet, 2.5" outlet.

Link doesnt work but the t-76 doesnt have a boost port on it to hook a vacuum hose. I think the t-60 does. Take a exhaust manifold gasket and see how it matches up to your turbo manifold. Some kits had a big misalignment. Didnt check that on mine but i will soon.

Well
Looks like i'm late in the topic
But, highway cruise i get between 24 and 26. As high as 28 if i keep it under 85
day to day mixed driving to work i get about 16. But i'm a little heavy on the loud pedal for reference, in a 35 mile one way trip to work i see atleast 3 WOT blasts
cruising, i've been known to drain a tank in 5 hours
