Hell no.....I can't afford it...just plain and simple. I wouldnt have even had a turbo if this one wasnt available used. I would still like to work on spool time. I'm happy with the power and et. If I can swing it, I'm gonna get ls1edit soon but I'm trying to hoard my pennies so I can get the 2 step as well. The best investment I have made is the Xylene...you and Dave preached octane enuff that I took it to heart. Octane can cover up some sloppy tuning. I run it most of the time and the motor is still purrrrring like a kitten. I'm really just happy to have the turbotech kit produce some respectable numbers. Lots of people are faster but lots arent as well so now I dont feel like such an underachiever.

Thats awsome! What do yo think you could do on steet tires? so it doesnt kill the rearend. Your rear is still stock, ouch, dont break nothin. I didnt know it cold hold a pair of slicks.

Just find every thing out that needs to be done with it before i put my kit in. You're helping me out, thanks. I need to get it in soon i cant wait.

I dont know (street tires) but I will find out soon as I have to give Cammin BeaSST his tires back I hope to have some tires for Steele next week. If not I'll just watch the shootout. If the rear breaks then so be it....it's not going to be a surprise. Thanks for the positives guys. Tho I'm not in the FAST group but you know it was a thrill to go from a 11.96 to the 11.28 with just a clutch change and some tires. I wonder how much pullies and ls6 intake would help towards a 10.99
I'm still impressed by any car that runs 12s and drives home in comfort. i see too many 11-13 second cars on trailers at the track. I never thought I would get this close to Harlans time but with a ls6 and pullies I might could get there. Of course now he's gonna mod some and give me a GOOD beat down but I will enjoy the technical info we learn from it. I lust for the incon kit but at least this shows that even tho its not near the quality as Incons kit, the turbotech kit is capable of some decent runs and it is available. With Raymers redesign, I have ZERO doubt about his 500 hp claims. The best part in this whole deal is the willingness to share info by the faster guys. I can understand secrecy from guys who race a lot for money or for a living but everyone has always given me an answer to the questions I asked even tho I kinda had the "stepchild" kit. Next weekend I hope we can all band together at Steele and issue some serious Ford beatdowns!!!! All in fun tho...thats what its all about.

I watched this car run numerous times yesterday, it was awesome. Smooth, nearly silent, and very fast. Awesome setup, nice runs cablebandit!

Mightymouse..thanks!! I had what appears to be a standard non adjustable pressure plate that probably had 2400 lbs of static pressure with a metallic disc. It actually looked like metal. I now have the RAM 402/6130 combo. I launched at 5500 rpms. Rev...dump. At 5000 it bogged a tick so I went up to 5500 and that felt good. man I cant imagine what it feels like when the big dawgs are doing sub 1.6 60'.
B18B1LS1 what were you running? if you are 98-4mula you need to post that best run!!!!!! Or were you the guy DRIVING the formula
I just realized Harlan is running with 300+ more lbs than me

No, that wasn't me. They were two of my buddies I came down with. The SS stayed at home yesterday I was driving my red civic hatchback. It's not the fastest in the world but it is fun to surprise a few V8's in it!
My best run was a 12.75 @ 107
Congrats again , your car is awesome!

Jerry: You are the man! Surely wish I had been there to witness your great passes. LOW 11s and he drives it everywhere !

You know I'm too old to drive to Steele and back so I hope to see ya next Sat. at SDR. Stay cool and safe.
