hi guys, im almost done puttin this procharger on. now, i hear that there is a grey wire that im going to splice into for my hobbs switch, under the fuse box? is there anything i should look for or just find the first grey wire? the reason i ask is because derrick, the guy i bought the kit from, said i need to make sure i find hte right wire, because theres 2 that are similar?
any help in determinig which one?
michael, he said that my hobbs switch doesnt have another solenoid, and that its just those two wires. white to grey fuel pump wire and orange wire to fuel pump...hmmm.....

Is there any ill effects of just having the aeromotive pump on the whole time. I have some hesitation when I am at part throttle sometimes, its just annoying. Its like I have to go all or nothing, but if I feather it and give it just enought gas to not hit boost it wants to sputter out. like its not getting enough fuel until the pump kicks on. Thanks

i talked to jason about keeping the pump on all the time and he told me he doesn't see why not. the only problem was when i did that the pump was so loud at idle that just pulled back into the garage to disconnect it.
i have that hesetation at partial throttle ( very slight tip in) it actually is more than hesetation cause the car actually slows down(just like you let of the gas). anyone know why the car does this?? (note: i have suffecient pressure)

Why not just use the dual in tank pump that Rob at LS1 Motorsports uses on his new turbo kit? Just a thought, Bob

I think its actually running out of fuel. I recently rebuilt my motor, and left the pump in tact. I was driving around on the motor and when I would floor it I would totally fall on my face. My O2s were .08 . It was running out of fuel, so I wired the pump on, took a spin around the block and the car ran great. I think the same thing is happening, just running out of fuel until the pump turns on. Its kinda annoying. I dont know about you, but my car will do it pretty bad, like its bucking, then when I finally hit boost its like a huge jerk. Just kinda strange. I was thinking about getting the dual intake pump, but thats a pain to drop the tank. I will do it for sure someday.

Adjust the pressure switch as low as possible. In other words, back out the allen adjustment screw.
The big aeromotive pump will heat up fuel. How much and to what extent I don't know, I've never personally tested that out. But 5.0Ls run their T rex's full time inline with there in-tankers.
There is no arguing though the big pump will last longer if only turned on under boost though.

mines not an aeromotive but I run mine all the time. many will argue this is a better setup due to the fact there is no lag in fuel delivery due to not having to kick on and start pumping when the car is begging for the extra fuel.
