With the right fuel system and t76 turbo I'd hope it would scratch at the 800rwhp area on pump gas. Get a t88 and you should have no problems with 8xx rwhp on pump gas. You would need a new fuel system, very good engine build up with low compression ratio.

Not that I'm going to try this anytime soon, but I like to think I have options.

WE are way ahead of you burnout. I am going with the 6.0L heads when I go FI.. I am building the shortblock now. Then I am getting the heads and having them ported and polished and drop the compression down closer to 9.1:1.. I am going to use 2.05 x 1.60's.. Port work is going to emphasize on the exhaust ports..

Just a technicality, but the 427tt is a C5R block, not the LS1 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />

How about the 111 lsa? This, on an A4, of course with tuning. I know the masses say 114 is best but even Rob said he prefers the 112 so is 111 gonna pose any hiccups with a turbo or what?

I can't afford $6000 right now but I consider myself in the prep stages while still bumping up my HP. The 6.0 truck heads were my original plan to drop compresion i was worried about loosing flow though, does any one now the numbers on the lq4 heads verse the ls1 stock for stock. Also does anyone know the actuall compression numbers id be looking at with the truck heads on my stock short block.

Flow #'s are similar to LS6 heads and the compression is dropped to 9.5:1 if you just bolt them on. You can open them up a bit to lower the compression some more.. If you are going boost I would build the shortblock first.. Just my 2 cents. I know about detonation..

Vince i would agree with yah man, if i ever planned on running more than 7pounds of boost, but on a street car i really dont see a need to run more. And i beleive i can run a consistant strong car on a boosted stock short block as long as i run things safe and have a good tune. Besides im only looking for mid ll's and trap over 120mph lol.
