Default low impedance injector converter

Anyone know anything about this jewel? Would be nice to run some 72# injectors at a more reasonable 40 psi fp

That looks pretty interesting...I have 50 lb/hr injectors now, but at $550 I would have rather bought that converter and some 72s!

wow pleasanton that guy is like 20 mins away from me! looks like a swesome solution for your big fuel guys didnt Harlan build his own converter? perhaps he could have a even cheaper solution than 375.

I do have a converter

Should be easy to get it under $375

Once i see how the design goes, i'll have to see about productionizing it

man that would be awesome. I'm sick of this fuel debacle. Bigger injecters/lower fuel pressure would be so much easier Are you getting your pcm modified or getting a similar type converter?

PCM is staying stock, w/ the driver box in between. No real room in the PCM to do what the GN crowd has done in the past. I need something to run my 96's

The car will be running as soon as the latest debacle is straightened out.

At this point i just wanna have it running

If anyone knows anything about electronics, this unit is nothing more than a high current, high speed transistor switch. The stock injector signal trips the transistor and all the current for the low impedance is handle by the transistor and not the PCM. Shouldn't be too hard to make. I don't need bigger injectors (yet) or I would work on a system.

It's not really that simple.

Yeah you could use a BIG driver to deal w/ the added current from the low imp. injectors, but the reasoning for the peak and hold is 2 fold

First, it's the get the injector open and closed fast. Big injectors are hard to control w/ a simple saturation type driver.

Second, there's alot of heat generated in the injector if you run it full current all the time.

The stock drivers are saturation FWIW
