Can you run a procharger with nitrous? I was wondering if you can run a procharger with nitrous. Maybe like a 50 shot. If you can't let me know and if you can whats the best thing or what would be needed.

Re: Can you run a procharger with nitrous? I have heard of people running a small shot with a supercharger on. Are you running alot of boost? I would recomend forged internals with a lower compression and a big upgrade to the fuel system. I think tbyrne is running a small shot on there F-1 Procharged 409 c.i. beast of a Camaro.

Re: Can you run a procharger with nitrous? Well this might sound crazy but...the Horsepower Store's WS6 shop car is running the 7 lb ATI and a 150 shot on top of it. On the stock bottom end. it ran 10.15 @140. Check it out www.horsepowerstore.com

Re: Can you run a procharger with nitrous? Yes you can. I wouldnt recommend what the HP Store is doing obviously. I have a procharger and I run nitrous with it. I have currently run only a 50 shot or less. I make sure I have plenty of octane when I do it though. My system might have its own problems. With headers, offroad Y, and a cutout I only made 420 RWHP at 7 psi. I dont think thats right but some people are telling me its normal. I wish I knew. Since that dyno I was thinking of moving to a 75 shot to get me to where I thought I would be. If anybody else has dyno numbers from a procharger car without heads and cam let me know. I need to find out whats killing my HP if anything is.

Re: Can you run a procharger with nitrous? It helps pick up the boost lag rather well. When you hit the good RPMs you can also still tell the difference. A 75 shot would be perfect. I'll try that soon. If I could ever get my MSD rpm window switch to work I'd dial in a 100 shot from 2500-4000 RPMs. That would be awesome. There would be like no lag at all. But I cant get that damn thing to work. What kind of setup are you running Blownmero? What did your dyno #s turn out like? I'm dissapointed in mine.
