A little more progress has been made. Since I thought the set up was very cool I thought I would post these pictures in the tread so they would be a little larger.

The twins appear to have no hood line issues.

After quite a few ideas for packaging the intercooler set up the wasted space between the fender and the firewall has been converted.

Here is the intercooler mock up for the drivers side.

Next update should be cage and suspension

Nice. is it going on, or just getting mocked up? I'd be media blasting or even dipping the car potentially.

I'm not sure what we are doing as far as clean up. The main strategy with this car is sleeper although it would be nice to be super clean. Maybe Kurt can chime in with more plans.

Here are a few more.

Here is a few of the intercooler plumbing going together

What's cool about this pic is what you don't see

Ah, there is the main hoop

Hey Chris.

The Nova engine will be a similar version to our 1000 hp able boost ready crate with a few tweaks and a dry sump system. You can check it out here in case you missed our other thread.

Very cool . Leave the exterior alone!!! Just fix any rust in critical areas!!! If any rust is fixed on the body panels paint that section primer and leave it. Bench seat and keep the column shift and stock steering wheel.

Sleeper image or rat rod...? Rat rod would be cool, but the things coming from that shop, I wouldn't dare not make it spectacular! Just keep it green, all the green ones have become red or black now....

Well seeing what your shop did to Roofer Dave's car I think you guys would be nuts not to pimp a deep metallic paint....but if your gonna keep the sleeper look, might as well still blast, primer, and then rattle can it if you want it to be a sleeper....just don't let it rot away

We will clean and stop all rust, but the original paint, or lack of it will stay.
Bench seat rebuild is in process.
Will have vintage AC system(I am the driver).
Looking for a replacement steering wheel, but the column stays as is.
With the hood up the sleeper value will be gone! Hood down the car will look innocent, probably sound like your typical 1000hp cruiser.
Can't wait to drive it home for the shakedown runs, my wife says I can't park it there!
