What are the dimensions on the fans.... are they Spals?

Can you list a p/n?

they are 13 inch Derale fans. You can go to their website it is the dual fan setup. I dont have a pin number off hand. I had to take the dual fan setup......cut the ends off. I then took on of the ends and reversed it so that it would seal off the ends. They are screwed on. I then made the upper and lower aluminum shrouds. They unit is essentially "air tight" all the air must go through th radiator. When I turned the fans on......boy was it sucking air!!!

Definately not a direct fit ...I knew that when I bought it......the only other fan that will fit is the Dual Spal fan.....it is 2750 CFM........Iwanted more..

Looks great. Your home gym should be well cooled.

Those fans look pretty thin profile, I may have to look into those.

 

They are an OEM Bosch Fan Unit. Flip the fans over in pic 1 and you can see it. Probably OEM'd to Derail.

Looks like a 'cool' setup. How do they bolt attach, to extensions on the sheetmetal, or through the rad?

The four center bolts are attached to extension off of the sheet metal like you had said. The outer mounts are through the radiator. I am not sure what the size of the Fbody radiator is?

The fan motors are bosch....good name.....

Too bad those fans only work as pullers...I'd like a setup like that using pusher fans!

 

my trusty measuring tape...lol, got me about 19x25 core size on my stock lt1 rad....btw what do the stock lt1 fans flow?

Because where my big single is mounting there is no room for those fans on the motor side of the radiator...I am going to have to stand the radiator up and custom fab a fan/shroud setup.

 

It'll never work.

 

my big single is right in front of the crank...little fabbing an i moved the fans/radiator about 5" further forward

 

That is where my single is going as well, but I am pretty sure that I am going to need the extra room.

I guess I should have mentioned that I am not running the stock radiator either, I am running the large LG radiator, which is significantly thicker then the stocker. I am going to cut the core support to stand it up and then fab something and make the fans work in the front.

 

Hmm.. they look similar to the LT1 fan setup.. Im sure it wouldnt be to hard to fab something up.. Whats the demensions on the fans? Do they have the four bolts in the corners or how do they bolt up to that shroud?
