Yes, either trim the radiator support or put a different radiator in to allow more space for the hat.

Hmm...just bought a new radiator so won't be changing that. I think the D1 should be enough.

I was running a 3.2 pulley with the SDCE bracket and maxing my P1 at 11.5psi. I just picked up a D1 head unit last week and installed it on Saturday. Rick over at Synergy Motorsports is going to be tunning it today or tomorrow.

i meant can you post a comparision graph of your figures prior to the motor compared to now...no nitrous???id like to see the area under the curve.looks like u have to update your website lol.i say get the A/F straight and throw on a D1 and see what happens.is there anything else that was wierd or different during the pulls?
Edit nevermind i found your previous graph....only difference i see is that you make ALOT more torque above 4k then before.like @ 5k your making like 60more lb.ft....i dunno ask Eric.

The pulls were fine. I got just a slight KR at above 5500. Otherwise it was a good run.

I sent the info off to Erik, nothing back from him.

I am pretty sure now that the 383 needs more air.

Got the 3.0 pulley installed. Also installed a wideband.

Boost kicks in @ 7#, but only increases to 10#. I am going to increase the tension on the tensioner and hopefully get rid of some of the slip.

Time for some street tuning.

After tightening the tensioner to 20+. Still couldn't get the boost over 10#. It does come in sooner. Looks like this is the most I can get out of my P1. Time to dyno it.

I had 621 RWHP on my P1SC with 11psi of boost Flowed 347ci motor, but I was running COGS to get me there with no slip, spinning the blower to 64000 impeller rpms..

I'd say 2 things, your running out of blower and your slipping the belt... Having your blower rebuilt for 1200 bucks to make it a D-1SC is a lot of money. Id say get that thing to stop slipping and see your max of 9 to 10 psi of boost..

I would be happy with 600, but I don't think that extra 2-3# of boost will get me there. I don't know what else to do about the belt slip. So my only option may be the D1.

i think the P1 just cant flow the air you need it to with the bigger cubes.Swap to a D1 and then see what itll really do at that psi.

The D1SC is flow tested for 200 more CFM than the P-1SC-1. Ed Blown Vert you do have the hilical impeller right the curved impellers?? If not, theres another problem. The stright cut blades of from P1 and D1 blowers out there are horrible to provide boost.

Since your thinking about going to a D1sc.. Just step up a little more and go F1. I wish I did.. I half to spin the crap out of my D1 to get my 14psi, and had to go meth to help keep the heat down.

Not sure which ones I have.

I think the D1 will get me the extra pound or two I need to hit my goal of 600.

I'll dyno it now since I gained an extra two pounds and see where I am.

Its $1100 to upgrade to the D1. Wonder how much for the F1?

true....the thing i see is that if you skipped the D1 and went to the F1 you could make ALOT more power and skip out on the nitrous or meth and sell that to recoup some cash.
