CE goes 8's
Went to the M10 race at Mid Michigan Motorplex and accomplished both my goals for the day. I wanted to go 155 mph and wanted an 8 sec slip.
First pass launched on to much boost and it spun and shook the tires but ran it out till it got squirley at the end and coasted across.
60'- 1.48
1/8- 5.91
mph- 123.50
1/4- 9.17
mph- 145.74
Second pass I added a degree of timing at peak boost. Launched on less boost and still shook the tires. But I accomplished my first goal.
60'- 1.40
1/8- 5.84
mph- 123.47
1/4- 9.02
mph- 155.14
Third pass added half pound to the tires and less boost on launch. Last goal accomplished.
60'- 1.36
1/8- 5.79
mph- 123.52
1/4- 8.96
mph- 154.93
Made a fourth pass in eliminations. But tried to launch on even less boost and the car fell on its face when I let go of the button. Can't find the slip but from memory it cut a 2.2 60' and went 10.7 at 154mph.
All passes were made on Sunoco 110 and Meth injection. Also I was running it with only a Kirkey aluminum race seat and no catback. So race weight was down. Hopefully the scales will be open at Milan Saturday. Where I do plan on going a touch faster.
Big thanks to W2W for building me an awesome motor, Rossler for building me a hell of a tranny and Midwest racing converters for building me a lockup converter that can take everything I'm putting it thru.

Wow, nice street car....
Must be nice going to the store and doing 155 from the driveway to the first stop sign. Then hit the shoot, and the turn signal at the same time.
Then f- with the radio, light up a butt with the cigarette lighter and do a 120 ft wheelie down the road and catch 2nd gear. (and all that with the top down)
