Default Compressor maps for Prochargers

Has anyone ever seen a compressor map for a P1SCH or D1SC?

If so, where and can you post a link/pic/anything? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Thanks

John

Thanks² Jimmy <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I found some for Vortechs blowers on their website but, none for ATI anywhere. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />

Maybe I'll try contacting them for the info and see what I get.

Who has the test equipment to come up with these maps? I'll send my blower to them to get a map for everyone. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> I've got a P1SCH though, somebody with a D1SC would have to send theirs so we could have a map of both. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I wonder if Vortech would test a Procharger. I know they test their blowers.

I've heard that about compressor maps being impossible to get for the ATI units. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />

I have a friend that used to work for ATI, coming up to visit tomorrow as a matter of fact, and i'll try to remember to ask him if ATI even has any, and how secretive they are with them, and if i could possibly get ahold of some, he still is good friends with the guys there, and we will see what we can come up with. I imagine these would be hard to get ahold of, we don't even have any at the shop lying around i don't think, and we deal in alot of Prochargers every year for them.

Ok, here is the first update, i talked to my buddies that owns the shop, and he said he has been a Procharger dealer since ATI was only a year old. And he said he has been asking for awhile, and can't get any, they keep them pretty much to themselves, but when our friend that used to work there get's here, we'll see what we can come up with.

That should mean they are either substantially better or worse than the competition. LOL! Which?

Based upon performance, i would lean toward the fact that they are better, but then again they are innercooled which gives them an advantage, but Vortech chooses not to innercool, so that is their fault, that, and from my experience, they are better performing on the streets also, we have a guy with a vortech supercharged s-10, that we installed an ATI 3 core innercooler on, and our same kit, obviously our kit uses Prochargers, but they still outperform the Vortech's by a good margin, which is why we deal exclusively with Procharger's, we designed the kit for the 4.3l s-10's, and are the exclusive dealer, ATI can't even sell you a kit, and are working on the V6 F-body kit as we speak.

I used to work ATI and helped with alot of the blower testing. There are no published maps for release and probably won't ever be. The maps changed a little depending on the size motor you have and can be misleading if some doesn't understand how the system works.

Just realized I need to change my name. Not at GWP anymore...... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Hey Jason

Email me with your new location. I sent some mail to your GWP address the other day and never got a reply. Now I know why. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> It was about compressor maps and some other stuff. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />

Hey Mike!

Jason, I might be wrong but with your S-10 talk it makes me think your at MACH performance? is that right. If so I tried getting hold of you a bunch for some of those kits. Lot of demand for them out here. Let me know some more.

I started out in the shipping department about 5 years ago. That lasted about six months when I got traded to the Tech service department when a spot finally opened up. I spent about four years there. I actually made the prototype kit for the LS-1 (with instruction from engineering of course). I left and went to GWP before the kit was ever tested or released.

Who is your freind? I still spend a lot of time with most everybody that works there. My mom lives about 5 mins from the shop.

Later

COJAY/Jay

Yup, you got it, i work part-time for Bill@ Mach Performance, i've been friends with him for over 7 years, since we both worked at a local Marins that raced offshore Scarabs, and we built some of the baddest boats on the water. But now he has his own machine shop in Michigan and specializes in F/I, and as you know designed the 4.3 kit for ATI, and if any of these peeps were to want the kit, ATI will actually tell them to call Bill for the kit, and we just finished up the turbo kit for the 4.3's also this summer, now we are working on a few different projects, too many if you ask me, but we are doing a LS1 turbo setup on my roomate's car, like LS1 Motorsports, but he wants to do it himself, andf save some jack then make the kit, since with us being here in the Detroit area, we have alot of F-bodies, also a twin turbo Dakota with Fuel injected 440 in it, and a single turbo Jeep Grand cherokee limited 5.9 liter, as with the Procharger kit for the 3.8 liter f-body guys. I know Dorian from there, and Mark is visiting us this weekend and going to PRI with us, i'm not sure on his last name still, after talking to him this long, i know it, it's on the tip of my tongue, he worked in a couple os spots like you, i know he worked with the fuel goodies, and left a while ago. The number at the shop is 586-468-6300, we'll be there tomorrow if you wanted to call, and if that is busy, try my cell 586-321-6056, if you got some people that are serious about the kit's, lemme know, we are working on a holiday special now, and already have a couple of people signed up, we got 2 4.3 kits, and 2 possible 3 LT1 kits we are gonna do all at once to freak out ATI, and Bill is giving them all a little better price, since they are all gonna wait, so we can order all at once, so get ahold of me/us quick, and we can hook this up. Later man!

Oh, and i forgot to say, that after talking to Mark, he agree's with Jay, that ATI doesn't per say have advertised Compressor maps for their head unit's as they change slightly from vehicle to vehicle, so good luck ever getting ahold of any......sorry guys.
