throwing lean codes.
throwing lean codes. I got my car Dyno tuned a 3 weeks ago. I was coming home from up in Sac. to San jose, everything was fine, let the car sit for about 5 hours, went out, S.E.S light pops on,check it, said I was LEAN on Bank 1, and Bank 2. So I clear them, the light comes back on a couple days later. Been going on for about 3 weeks, same codes every time. What could it be????

Re: throwing lean codes. Quick check, My buddy had the same code and it turned out being that the car was tuned with a after market MAF. he put the stock back on, Light hasent been seen yet!!!!

Do some searches on here with some of these terms: ATI, lean, MAF relocation, PCV, blow thru, pull thru. They should get you plenty of reading material to see what is going on. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
