total cost out the door for a complete FI system. ok guys im looking for the total cost your turbo or blower systems came too including the tune the injectors, everything to get the engine up and running and include a reasonable labor charge if anyone did it for you.
Re: total cost out the door for a complete FI system. Ive got about 7000 in my ATI setup. Its just a 7psi P1 but it halls the mail. I installed the whole thing myself. Im using a carroll supercharging Superfueler with 3 Aux. 42lbs. injectors before the throttle body for extra fuel. I have an extra fog light switch on the dash to turn my blower air flow on and off so i can choose between FI (for killing imports) or NA for just plan driving. It really cuts down on the engine wear when you can turn the blower airflow off. I might start selling this kit if anybodys interested.
Save yourself a load of cash and install the thing yourself and buy LS1Edit and a wide band O2 and tune the thing yourself. it only took me like 2 nights to install the ATI kit.
spend the money that you would use for the install on some forged bottom end parts so its strong.

Re: total cost out the door for a complete FI system. For ATI Prochargers, look at the kits that MMS sells. It comes with 48lbs injectors and tuning, or it did last time I looked.

Re: total cost out the door for a complete FI system. Get your wallet and mind set on 7 bills for an out-the-door install and tuning. You can spend less, but I bet you'll hit that number - and maybe exceed it. I hit it with my D-1SC set-up, but I did go with things like 42# injectors and a dual-fan SPAL custom setup.

$4800 is what I've got in mine. Prolly closer to $5000 by the time all the little stuff is included. You know, all the trips to Autozone for little stuff. And I haven't touched the rear-end or clutch yet.

stage 2 - new engine. went with forged pistons rods new cam 6.0 midly ported heads lower CR (9:1) new fuel pump, better exhaust: it ran a total of $5k and a retune.
