It won't really matter - you'll tune the car to whatever parts it has on it when you put it on the dyno. Then don't swap them! I like the stock MAF guts better than all the rest, but I took that screen out and used a set of Thunder Racing ends. Works like a champ for me...

Kyle, Like ai was saying, keep the stock mass air and you can ake the screen out. It isnt restictive, tuning gets funny with the granetteli and the electronics of it. I am making over 500 rwhp with my stock maf still in. Mine doesnt readd but it is still in. I blew my car up because of the granetteli, because they didnt acount for it and it advanced spark and thats not good under boost.

You just have to be careful, the SLP MAF leans the car out, which is definetely NOT what you want on F/I, the Granatelli doesn't i don't think, but i'll have to check to be sure, we use the Granatelli's on our F/I S-10's with no issues, so i think they will be fine, i wouldn't use the SLP though, we did for awhile, and couldn't tune the car with it wel, so we switched back to stock, and voila, much easier animal to tame.

I really don't worry about going lean with a good tune.. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Iam using SLP MAF. So far so good. I havent had a problem with it running lean just make sure you tune for it.

I just got the car dyno tuned and I got 531RWHP/502RWTQ with stock internal, head, cam, and 9lbs. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
