Question for Mr. Raymer Hello Rob, I have a couple of quick questions I was hoping you could answer, if you don't mind.
Well I'm building a pro-touring LS1 Powered 68 Camaro, and I would like to go Forced Induction one day. I have heard good things about you so I figured I'd inquire about your single Turbo setup for F-body's.
Heres my questions:
Would I or you be able to adapt your single turbo setup for 98-02 F-body's to my 68 Camaro, with some custom fabrication.
Would there be a major price difference.
Would you consider doing something like this.

Re: Question for Mr. Raymer From what I know the kit ws designed specifically from the ground up for late model fourth gen's only... The plumbing is made in such a way that it is meant to "snake" through all the smaller areas found inside the fourth gen.. The problem you would run into is the intercooler.. The first gen camaro has a radiator that mounts completely vertical while the LS1M kit is meant to mount the I/C at the same angle as in the fourth gen.. Also, the radiator shroud in the first gen may be mounted farther away from the engine, making the plumbing too short..

Re: Question for Mr. Raymer No, none anywhere close to being in their league. Kooks is not cheap but does wicked work and builds lots of wicked cars. I would sit down with both shops and see what they can come up for ya though. If i think of any other shops i will give a shout but i just can't think of any others right now.
