I know this has been talked about again and again, but the search engine didn't pick up $hit.
So what other FI plugs are there other then NGK TR6?
Thanks
Jay

Have you looked into getting iridium plugs? I know Denso makes them and also I believe NGK makes a set of iridium plugs.
Try www.densoiridium.com
You may be able to find what you need.

That's my fault guys, I left out that I'm running a supercharger and was looking for cold plugs like the TR6.

FWIW, i've had good luck with Iridiums in non-LS1, turbo apps. I've yet to hear of any bad results with Iridiums, honestly. Had a set in my Syclone for almost a year, and the Syty's are typically *horrible* with ignition. Doing a plug swap every week or so wouldn't be out of the ordinary.
NGK TR6IX would be the Iridium NGK model of the TR6.
I have heard Duttweiler became a fan of them after some testing.

bgreen , I've been thinking about going to iridiums but after seeing the price for the Densos I was definitely
Are the NGK iridiums cheaper than the Densos? i have NGK TR6s in my car but I'm really curious about the iridiums.

They're still expensive
prolly $6 or $7 each, unless you can find a buddy that gets a discount.

FWIW, we've seen absolutely ZERO benefit (on the street or on the dyno) from switching a properly tuned car over from NGK TR6's to iridiums in several applications. Save your money.

On an LS1 - probably not necessary, as their ignition system is damn good. Plus I have yet to see an LS1 that runs high boost(high boost being relative - in my turbo setups, I'll do 20-25psi, and you find out if your ignition is up to par pretty quick). The ignition is pretty poor on the turbo stuff I've done (in comparison to the LS1 coil near plug setup), and anything you can do to increase energy at the plug is good. In those situations, I think the Iridiums would be a good choice (if you can afford it ).

TR6's at .028, and it only takes .1 A/F change to cause misfire.

Same results every time, no different than a fresh set of NGK's.
