Where to spray meth at?
The idea behind meth is cooling and octane. So to put it at or aroudn teh turbo would be coolin all teh parts from teh turbo to teh intake. Where as u are lookin tocool the air that enters the engine. SO u are gonan wanna put the nozle aroudn teh elbow goin into the TB. I have mine in the housing for hte TB it self. In the part that the elbow conects to. GL man

put your meth/alcy/whatever your using about 3-6 inches infront of your air intake temp sensor. The air sensor should be a few inches from the throttle body. You do this so the AIT sensor knows the air is cooling off and the computer can adjust.

I suggest as close to TB as possible if you are running a MAF we had a problem with reversion in the charge pipe after the throttle blade shut,causing excess liquid to back up onto to the MAF and destroying it.

Ok folks, we are getting some conflicting stuff. So I am going to want to tap into the throttle body AFTER the maf and AFTER the IAT sensor? Will it not cause the car problems with it not reading the cooler charge from the meth? Thanks folks.
you need to get another iat sensor and some xtra wire and install it in the tube in front of the tb....you then need to install your spray nozzle behind that iat sensor so that the fluid will hit the new sensor when it comes on...
For maximal cooling, squirt the methanol after the charge is cooled as much as possible: after the intercooler, as close to combustion as is practical. BUT: you do need to do it BEFORE the IAT sensor to accurate meter fuel & timing. I am not aware of any reason not to do it before the IAT sensor, as it shouldn't be sensitive to the methanol. MAF's do NOT like methanol, however.
Its not hard to snip the wire from the MAF leading to the IAT there and simply buy a new sensor and solder it up. I havent done mine yet, but it shouldnt take more than a few minutes. I think the IAT from the 3800 supercharged vehicles is the one they say to buy. Correct me if Im wrong please.
