New Dyno #'s what do you think....
453rwhp & 540rwtq
4psi out of an 8lb pully...
6300 RPM's is what they pulled it too..
18 degrees of timing...
12:1 AFR
No knock
Tea S2 5.7L 73cc Heads 9.3-9.5:1 compression
214/218 .540/.550 114lsa cam
Through the TH400 tranny w/an unlocked 3500 converter, it made 470rwhp before with the higher compression...

Re: New Dyno #'s what do you think....
Those seem like good numbers considering how much safer your setup is. 17 horsepower seems like a small cost to run a much safer setup. Just think if you pully back up to 8psi how much more power you'll be running.
I'd also like to see your new and old graphs and I'm running the same blower.
Were you running the same cam before or is that new also? What exactly did you change on the new pulls?

Re: New Dyno #'s what do you think....
The old 470rwhp #'s with were the cam thats in there now, the 214/218...
All the sheets are at Speed Inc. the last run they did was pretty quick, I'm not sure if they kept it or printed it out, I really didn't request it because I just wanted the car back bad...had been waiting a long time for parts to come in...I was also making a decision on weather or not to put it on the dyno that day...
I can probably get the old sheet, I think they might of kept that not sure...
But its a very smooth graph from when I saw it, no breakups at all, just a smooth curve....
Should I drive it for more miles and then consider pullying up?

Hmmm. So did Speed Inc. fix the promblem?
Im running a 8lb pulley and only getting 4lbs
also. But my motor is at 11:1 before the Procharger. Im at 12:1 now. But im seeing
over 500 + rwhp. When you posted a while ago
I thought you would definatly be over 500+.
Whats the deal? Oh ya sorry about what happen
to the car.

Re: New Dyno #'s what do you think....
The driveline is the main power sucker, the TH400 with the unlocked 3500 converter takes up a lot...the more HP you make the more it takes a way...
But the TH400 w/the brake makes up for it at the track.... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
I figure through a 6-speed it would probably make like 490rwhp with the tune it has now....
I'm happy with the way it is, If there is no oil loss in like 500 miles, I will most likely put an 10lb pully on it, and try and get 7-8psi... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
We will see though... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I'd run the car at the track (when they open) and then baseline the car.
I think the RWHP is low even for a T400 but you are not seeing a lot of boost. If it was my car I'd be trying for 7-8 lbs with a conservative tune.

Nice numbers <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Ideally I think you should have no problem hitting 8-9#s intercooled boost on 94 octane, decent timing, with that compression.
I think your timing is a little conservative given your compression.
I have seen guys run 25+ degrees advance with 9:1 compression and 10#'s intercooled on pump gas (94 octane) with AF in the 12:1 range.
I think the 77cc TEA heads are ideal for FI as 10-12# is possible on pump gas with a good safe tune.
Best of luck, should run 10s no problem at the track <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Re: New Dyno #'s what do you think....
Yea, I'm defiently going to baseline at the track, but for now I'm keeping the 4psi setup, and driving around for about 500 miles to see if its burning any oil...
Then I will decide to pully it up..
I have a 3.60 8lb pully now on the D-1SC, what size pully should I go to to hit like 7lbs?

Re: New Dyno #'s what do you think....
I figure it can easily go close to the mid 10's, the car will launch HARD...Boost and the Transbrake... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
I have a P.I. 3500 coverter...
So does anyone know the pully size I should go with to hit like 6-7 psi?

I'd either increase the boost OR raise the timing.
With lower compression, you can stand some more of either. Do it until you see a couple degrees of KR, then back off a tad.
Still, those are respectable numbers. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
