Default ISPEED GTA vs. Drunk in F250

I got to tell you guys, this year sucks...
I finally thought everything would be ok, I was going racing this weekend and gonna bust some awesome times... I hating seeing myself slip to 20th on the boosted list... But a drunk red neck painter had different plans, hit me head on, not an 1/8th mile from my house. I was stopped at a four way stop intersection. He lost control of his vehicle and hit me head on at about 40 MPH. It drove my car back into a BMW about 25 feet, i had my foot on the brake the whole time(brembos)
Had it towed to the house here are some pics
http://www.fbodygathering.com/bille/

Does this mean i get kicked off the boosted list?

I think I may cry! I recall meeting you and checking out your car thouroughly (pre boosted) at the GMHTP Muscle on the Mountain in Oct 2000. Sweet ride! At least you have Allstate, they'll take of you. Do you think any of it will removeable/salvageable? What's next? Time for a Z06?

ISPEEDWS6, that sucks BIG TIME!

Once you are on the FI list, you will always be an FI inductee. But, if it is not running or the FI is removed, it cannot rank current.

I've put you on the "Not Ranked" list. But, if you think it can be fixed, I'll move you to benched until it's back up.

I know it must hurt to lose your car like that.

Oh man, I am REALLY sorry to hear that I can't tell you how many nightmares I've had about that happening to me and I haven't even done any work on my car yet! I hope you're able to salvage some of your investment.

I have to be honest, i looked at the car more in the day light today...I don't think i want it fixed, will never be the same, and i'll have bad karma in the car...
Everything from the windshield back is ok best i can tell, the nose is history, both frame rails, my secondary fuel system was crush into the electrical center and then so on back...
I see alot of $$$ in damages...
The charger was pushed back into the cylinder head the custom ASP/ATI pulley damper is destroyed...the water pump is part of the front engine cover now...it's just disgusting...all that time all that money all that blood and sweat...
I'm gonna get a lawyer, and the drunk guy supposedly has insurance and it was in a work vehicle, so i'll let the lawyer go after them and handle it, I have ZL1's to build, i didn't need this to happen.
I understand not being ranked current now, not sure if i'll go thru all that work again...
I may write the car off, and move on...

I made some calls this morning to try to find a worthy replacement... we'll see, GM can't get me my GTO until june, my ride 'til then is my big block 79 TA, not even an LS1. I was thinking today, I'm glad it was my car... and not a customers car i was in... how do you explain that..."umm sir, your ZL1 was totaled last night."

IF i part the car out I'll let you guys know...
Thanks for all the kind words and votes of sympathy, while it's just a car, it still hurts...

Sorry to hear about it this again, first on GAFBA, then here. It is such a shame to see someone's hard work ruined in such short order. It is good to hear that you were not hurt in any way. Now get on those ZL1s

Oh yeah, if the time comes, and you part her out, there are a few parts I need, and I'm local.

I hate seeing stuff like that - all that work....

You're okay, so that's cool. But it still must irritate the **** out of you!

Why not be one of the first to have a mage-bad-*** GTO? Not like you weren't already, I'm sure, but I'm sure you would have the resources to hhok it killer! Again, sorry to see it happen, but maybe for a reason? Just trying to keep on the bright side. Can't wait to the big ci, blown GTO!

I have checked into it and the soonest they say i can have a GTO is June, more like July and with my luck August...
Anyways, I might get another pontiac, formula or TA, i need to see what the insurance people say.
Wait 'til they see the bill for the mods done to that car...and it's all crushed.
It'll get straightened out...
Besides this show season i planned on playing with my ZL1.

Too bad the lawyer can't get a court to order him to pay for ALL you have invested in the car!
