Roots type blower?

Is it possible to get a roots type blowe on an LS1 thats mounts in place of the intake right on top of the block?

try the search function, there are a few mile long threads about it....in short, it can be done but cutting the cowl and other various body mods need to be done

I tcan be done, but it will definitly NOT fit on a F-body. I am currentl;y working on the design for a manifold that will mount a 6-71 roots-style blower on an LS1, but it will be going on a drag car, and will never see street duty of any kind while I have it.

Are you asking about a Roots (GMC style), or an Eaton type of supercharger?

I havew a Magnacharger which uses parts from an eaton, But has two rotors and magnacharger calls it a root blower.

I also have one, a magnacharger, fully installed, and fully functional on a '98 Z28.
