Its about $600 without shipping. That with a stock stroke makes about a 366.

Also, what kind of gains would I see from swapping my current Stage 2 5.7L 73cc 9.5:1 compression heads to a 6.0L head, would the 5.7's work or no?

All 6.0's are iron blocks.

My AIM is not working properly I can't figure out why Brian.

You could have some open up the heads for the 6.0 bore...

I think the weight gain from the block is noticeable...

Recently it was said that the iron block is 90+ pounds heavier by XtraCajunSS(sp?). I think it was him. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Besides the aluminum block has shown to be able to take the power. Agostino's 8 sec car is a 422 aluminum block with a 300shot (I think).

I changed my mind for a few reasons. One I stated above, the aluminum block can do it if done right, two I found the block I have now for cheaper than the LQ4, and three it wouldn't be an LS1/6 anymore.

One of the guys on the board, RDF, is selling a brand new 6.0 block still in the crate at a very good price. He decided to stay stock cubed instead of building the stroker. Email him at dickfarrell@hotmail.com
