Re: Fastest M6... Harlan ran a 10.000000 @ 143mph or some insane mph like that. I am sure he will be dipping 9s a plenty this race season. I believe there might be a faster 6 speed car out there, but not forced induction - but don't quote me on that.

Re: Fastest M6... That's incredible, Harlan. Glad to hear that 9s in an M6 are possible. I guess it depends a lot on the skill of the driver to get there. Maybe I will keep my M6 and not go the TH400 route... Not that 9s are in my immediate future, but hey, it's nice to have goals, right <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Re: Fastest M6... they were high 1.4's to low 1.5's most of that day. Had a pair of 1.44's but both were on aborted or miss-shifted runs.

Re: Fastest M6... i had the trans gone through once, 40K miles on the trans 26k miles boosted. While i was building the surrent setup, i had D&D install the steel 3-4 fork and install new OEM parts. Synchros, bearings, blocker rings, etc.
No beef-up at all.
I've had a handful of clutches.
1 - centerforce
2 - RAM 402/6130, stock flywheel
Those were at the 580 RWHP level, RAM never slipped but lasted about 12K miles each. Centerforce slipped when hot lapped.
current setup is a RAM steel flywheel, RAM 402 pressure plate, and a Mcleod Rev-loc II steel disc. I was going to go with the RAM steel disc, by Mike at RAM suggested i go w/ the Mcleod because it has a sprung hub. His colleages feared i might break the RAM solid hub disc, as it's intended to be used w/ a long-style pressure plate. It's meant to slip a little, then lock up as RPM increases. With a high clamp force diaphram like the 402, that wouldn't happen.
