CAS Twin Turbo Numbers
Just got home a little while ago from my Dyno shop. After finding a torched plug wire on cylinder 4, car made 517rwhp, and 522rwtq <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> . This was with 8#'s of boost and 12deg of timing. A/F 11.5. This was through closed exhaust, 12 bolt and steel drive shaft. Big thank's to Tony D for dyno tuning my car. Graph will be scanned and posted tomorrow. Angelo

Great #'s!! 12 degrees though? Is that at peak TQ, or pretty well through the band? I have asked this question before, but nobody seems to know. How low can you go on timing? I had heard 16 before, 12 seems awful low . . .

This was on my dynojet Model 248. Some timing was added for the very low end. The turbos start spooling at 2800rpms, and spool up very fast. I started the 4th gear stomp at 2900rpms. Car pulled strong to 6k. The scariest thing is that my car hooks, and I'm gone. These turbos are overkill for my car, but it feels so damn strong. I could see low 11's on my DR's with Harlan's 2 step. On my slicks, there is no reason why 10's would be out of reach. Nice numbers!
Was it on a Mustang dyno or a dynojet?
Also that timing is really low. Does it feel like a dog off idle?

A-deeo, Congrats, I spoke to Tony yesterday he said it came out nice, The only thing I can tell you is after a few heat cycles I would go over all the nuts and bolts just to double check them.
