Finally got the redyno the the Z06 and made some pulls with the new pulley.Boost wasn't any higher probly due to the small cam ect but the #'s went up.Runs were done on a mix of 93 and 104 from the last track outing.

Nice numbers.
Query. Ive seen many posts, where you yourself have said that you have used small cams, and they have made excellent power throughout. Suggesting that something like a 220/224 or even smaller can produce the goods.
You say that with this setup, boost wasnt any higher due to the small cam ??
What is regarded as big and small ? Where does one start to trade of power/torque lower down and need to go to a "big" cam to gain up top. ie At what sort of power level does a small cam be too small on a similar setup to what you have..
Maybe another question, do you feel that is a good cam ? What LSA is it on ?
Basically I'll be getting a similar cam ground anytime. Was going to try it on 115 or 116LSA. I only have mildly ported LS1 heads for now though, but may get some Darts in the new year..
Also, do you think on that engine, the 225's are worth it over 205's ?

We went alittle different on this car because the purpose of it.The heads are doing nothing now over the 205's but we have future plans with this when the owner is ready. We will raise the compression and use a bigger Cam that bleeds off and I'm sure 900hp will be had but at the price of alway's running pump gas and the idle/drivability will really suck

Can you PM me more details on the fuel system. What kinda custom lines is it running? Is it return? Got a 02 Z06 with a 347 and a A&A kit on it I've been doing. It's making 686 with some belt slip SAE, but getting really close on fuel I'm afraid. It is a racetronics with a KB bap and 60 lber's. Interested in the lines as this may be the next step. Thanks in advance buddy!

For some reason a single 255 in a vette goes a long way, must be a different regulator + slightly bigger lines. Nearly 700rw on the last C5 here on a single 255 with no voltage booster and the 60lb injectors ran out before the pump did..
I have been thinking of trying the Hi-Z 75lb injectors but I have one of those aceleronics converter boxes here and dont know if I'd be better of with that and some 75-83lb Low-Z injectors. My 57s are at 98% at 65psi so they are done, the Hi-imp 75s are appealing but I'm on the fence about them..

I am absolutely blown away that a single 255L is all that's supporting that combo!!! That guy must have hit the lotto with that pump! I though you had a typo and meant to include another pump in the specs. With all the money in this car, it's kind of silly to not have a better pump setup at this level. Either way, I'm pretty sure you must have set some record for a 255L intake pump... with a SC no less!!!
Nice job (as always) with this car Don.
BTW, Are you guys still looking to get a load bearing dyno? The other thing I wanted to ask you about is if you've done any SD tuning yet? I want to go this direction next and was wondering if this is something you could help me with, or am I going to have to blow my car up myself?

BTW- this car was tuned with Edit --no need for 2bar setup's to control the mix

Just curious: What if everything else was kept the same except the cam was a 248/250 .610/.610 113 lsa and the engine was a 8.9:1 compression 436ci stroker engine with pure race gas.

Put it this way,our race cars run 11-1 static compression with 240's Cams on 112 durations. We run 24-26lbs of boost 24+ degree's of timing and make well over 1000hp without pushing water.
