Damn! Sounds like I need to take a ride up to Warsaw.

My suggestion. Build a 500ci LSx with a 100+mm turbo and put it in an Ultima GTR. Keep the $100 and just give me the old 408

How about you save it???? If you don't wanna save it, build a road racing car, or something with good power to take the turns, you could build a good road car for that money.

1. the forged 5.3 ls1 (fwd version) in a new 2006 civic coupe, install a crv awd system , add some twins on then slap a VTEC badge on and start a new swap craze for the import scene ......might cost some $erious $$

2. or maybe a rear engined ls1/2 civic hatch bak ?? with hybrid badges

3. crv awd with forged ls1/2 and a whipple

4. a lotus elise wit a stroker ls2 and blower/turbo ( you'd have to use part of the back storage area im sure)

5. ls2 sky/soltice thingy

6. ls2 turbo van and 4wd slamed with 345's on 19's drag radials

7. forged turbo ls1/2 in a n/a supra

lol, I was thinking of maybe an ls1powered School bus. Complete with a home theater system, couches and spa in the rear for long trips up to fortwayne. Everyone can cruise in a car, But a 600hp schoolbus with seating for 30? lol... I wonder how crappy the gas mileage would be with that much weight? It sure would be nice to have all the friends all pile up into one car when we go to other towns to have fun.... hmmm,, I wonder how much a used School bus is.. ?

im so glad u said that cause thats 1 of the stupidest things ive ever heard!Right up there with the Integra i saw with a V10 viper motor in it....that STAYED FWD!i dont think ud really notice the bus being that fast if u were serious about it....itd be equivalent to a pickup or an Escalade with a lil work done.Do something that'll be fast, different from everyone else on the boards and streetable....id almost agree with the Ultima idea but there are already a few on the board who are or have done that.ive never heard of a stroked, blown,AND turbo'd F-body streetcar

how about a big cube motor with the new kenne bell 3.3 supercharger on it maybe the world block and heads on it then the kenne bell 3.3 if your willing to cut the car or if not why not get the new factory five kit car that takes the ls1 motor and do it with ls1 and kenne bell 3.3 IMHO that would be the way to go no one has done a big cube ls1 with a kenne bell 3.3 because it requires alot of fab work but the tq down low would be incredible

My vote is for a big cube lsX be it the warhawk 427 or the new 500ci with twin T91 turbos put into either the ultima GTR or the factory 5 GTM race kit car. Go off and set some new world records.

You wouldn't mean trips to Showgirl, would you?

That would be kick ***, a hi HP pimp bus to cruise the strip joints. That would make a good ride to go to the "Hugger" too.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the new Trailblazer SS, would by might fun to put the 408 in there with the AWD, though I'm sure it wouldn't hold up to the abuse.
