Yes the supercharger curves look very peaky. The ones on Z06's actually keep climbing until they hit the reve limiter. ECS has come out with a restricter plate that actually restricts boost at hi-rpm. What happens here is the blower builds boost sooner as you step down to smaller pulley but then the when the boost peaks because of the restriction the power curve hits a peak. Here is a ECS kit with a restricter on a 04 Z06 with just headers:

here is the curve for a A&A ATI kit on a z06 with just headers:

What I'm trying to achieve is to make more power and torque by 6000 grand so it doesn't get too hard on the stock bottom end. My reasoning is recovery after a shift since this car is going to be drag raced. I don't want to fall flat on its face after a shift. I could buzz the combo higher but I don't know how long the bottom end will last. 2 things that i'm 99% certain on changing my Z06 is to use the LQ9 head but at a compression around 9.9-10.1 and getting one of those combination motorsports cam-something like the 218/224. It's look like these cams are ground on the "lazier" XE lobes but that probably isn't a bad thing on a SC? From what I have seen is it sems the 218/224 and the 220/224 cams make more torque than the Z06 cam. What do you guys think?

I agree, but my whole point was that blindly saying that you need a 114 LSA for forced induction is incorrect. For instance the 106 LSA GN cams. . .

That's the got to be one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen. A reduction of peak power to make the curve look flatter is counter-productive. Take out the restrictor plate and the peak power will increase, as will the rpm it makes it at, but it will have more area under the curve.

Trying to keep the powerband down.... That's when I wonder if a Speed Inc. 225/225/113 is not a bad choice... Maybe ask them.

That's why I think a small single pattern cam even on a 112 lobe seperation may do the trick. We have all seen the strong , wide fat torque curves cams such as the TR224 on a 114 and 112 provide. It kills the Z06 cam from 2500 to 4000 and then hangs on better after 4800. Remember this is a "stock" bottom end so boost will be limited to no more than 9 lbs-I'm certain that there will be little to no boost lost realized up to 6000-then off boost you have that nice torque that your motor provides. Now if this was a forged motor where we can run alot more boost without worry we would run a SC cam and spin the blower faster to make as much boost as possible.
