Default heads 4 FI

I was hoping to get some input on what to look for or any suggestions on heads for my future set up. It is a t-88 turbo on a iron race prepped block, 370-408ci. Not sure what to be looking for in a set of heads for this set up. Money isn't a real issue but nothing exotic either like $8000.00 dollars or anything. Just some suggestions. Thanks!

I'm running into the same kind of problem here...I think that I'm going to probably go with the good ole 225cc AFR's...You can get them race ported and stuff...Just depending how far you want to go but they will handle the boost definitely...Or you can look at some ET's...They go even further than the AFR's but if you want a little bit of good street manners then I wouldn't probably go any bigger than the 225s...Just my two cents cuz right now I'm in the same boat..What are your power goals??

Those Livernois stage III heads might not be a bad choice if you looking to save a buck. Otherwise, you can't go wrong with AFR's

I'd go aftermarket, and go ET Performance. They have a 240cc head that has a 800 thou deck (300 for stock). That's what I am planning to run in a month.

I was leaning toward the AFR's and the ET's. But wasn't sure which. I'm having speed do the setup and will be looking at 900rwhp on race fuel. I was actually set on the AFR's until I saw Speed offered the ET's. Not sure which option to go with though. I will as always seek the advice of Speed but wanted to get an idea of what all the guys here thought as well.

Customer service from ET is outstanding in my experience. I have emailed and called Cary at ET several times to ask questions (before and after I got my heads) and he was very helpful and prompt about responding. You can't go wrong with ET Performance!

I am 99% on using the ET 265 11 degree, 72 CC chamber on a 4.125 bore standard stroke TT with the GMPP single plane, looking to make 1000 at the tires. The 860 deck and huge spring pockets (1.60 I think) should make them ideal for big boost.

Has anyone had these on a dyno yet or independent flow bench? The numbers on there web site are huge.

I'm building a similar setup..396 with an 88. I have a set of the 240 ET heads on order. If you can stand the wait, I would get them. For the money, it's an awesome head.

The wait won't be a problem since they will sit at home till I come home in July anyway. I think these are the heads I'm going with. They sound pretty solid and have gotten a lot of thumbs up on them. Thanks guys!
