After all the BS KB has been giving everyone in the vette world over the last year or two, I wouldn't do anything to support those idiots.

Besides, I haven't been all that impressed with any single power adder KB car to date. I think ProCharger cars are beating them down on the street and on the track. Don't waste your time supporting KB and their 'cute' little blower.

It would be difficult to justify your comments since there aren't any Vette kits out yet. Are you talking about their late to the market delivery time for the C5s? Yes, KB admits they took a while to produce the C5 kit, but they just wanted to make sure it is right before releasing it. You know how picky Corvette guys are

We already know Prochargers and such run quicker at the track. I'm somewhat interested in seeing if a street blower kit like this can run 8s. I'm not looking to build the fastest LS1 on the planet, just something fun and different. I would hardly call any 8-second car 'boring'. Eventually, I would put the 91mm turbo kit on the car and shoot for 7s, but this would be a fun little experiment.

Justify? Go look on the CF regarding all the people KB has been misleading over the last 18+ months. Another 'two weeks, month, two months, six months, year... should be any day now'. Hell, even their web site said 'coming soon' for the last year! A lot of people have sat around waiting based on their broken promises. Phone calls always assured customers that they would be ready very soon... Most people have finally said screw KB, because they couldn't get a straight answer from of them, and bought other SC's or turbo kits. And make sure it's right before releasing? They had one guys C5 for what was supose to be a couple of months to develop their kit with. After a year they finally had to BUY the guys car from him! Now they're looking for another sucker to donate his car to them so they can hack up another car for more process improvement/testing.

Sorry, but I would not support those clowns, but that's just me.

That car doesn't run either. Maybe soon I'll find out if there really is anything to this turbo LS1 craze. Kurt's afraid that car is gonna put me or Mark in a pine box.

I say ya do it for 2 reasons Tony.....
1. Be the first F-Body with it.......
2. you can run it for a lil bit.... keep all the C5 parts and Sell the whole kit when your ready for the turbo and Prob not lose very much if any $$ at all........

I can't wait to see and hear people using the KB....it looks like it would be an easier/cleaner looking install compared other s/c's and turbos.

I think that would be a great idea to slap it on in the meantime.

As one has said, it will retain its value for the most part, and you can pitch it when you're ready putting together your custom 91mm setup.

While having this, you can set some records while you're doing it! Who doesn't want to do that?

I think it's a grand idea'r. However, as previously stated, it is either going to be a long wait or seem like a long wait if you want one. KB is known to take their S.A.T. (sweet azz time) in developing parts for the performance arena.

I think as long as you stuck to this and actually went turbo down the road to go faster then go ahead and do it.would be interesting to see.

if you got the funds for it, then why not? Are you sure you can get 18 lbs out of it, since you have extra cubes and better heads/intake?
