How many are interested in the Kenne Bell potential?
The number refers to the displacement in liters for 1 revolution of the blower. 2.3 liters, etc.
However, there is some new stuff coming down the line. Higher precision machining with a bit different design making for better efficiency. Twin screw INSTANT boost seems best for the street with a heavier vehicle [I really wanted to do this on my goat, rather than the STS...]. It is a great combination with the low-torque Ford mod motors.
What is TRULY SAD is that I've had a KB 2.2 kit sitting in a box for a couple of years for my 66 Mustang 'vert project...not enough time or $$ to go around for all of my dreams! One of these days [hopefully this year] it will be on the road.
I think Tony's new drag car is light enough that he might get there just with a 2.4 KB.
I've been going 9.4 at 3450 raceweight, and I bet Tony's car with him in it is much lighter. He's lighter, and he has drag brakes and a lightweight 9". I bet 20-21 psi would you get in the 8's Tony. I was 18psi on the 9.4 run with my YSi, and a conservative tune.
