I'm already using an aftermarket ecu with my LS1. Probably not much different to the BS3. Has a few good features built in such as traction control. I was using it with my old Rover V8 twin turbo, before I dumped it in favour of the LS1. Was easier to retain it, than re-wire for a different ecu.
Downloading the BS3 software now for a nosey..
Arent some of the controls for the dash instruments on some LS1 powered cars built into the PCM ??
Would this not create issues for a road car that wanted to go to something like BS3 ?
