I bought my forged block from A&A Corvettes. He uses 04 Z06 blocks and the cost I believe was $3500 and I am very happy with my setup and my 742 rwhp does put a smile on my face everytime I drive my car

i wonder how much power that TSP motor can handle?

 

I've recently done some research on this from many board sponsors.

You'd be surprised how wildly the price varies for a stock crank forged rods/pistons 347ci shortblock. Some shops must be reeeeeaaaalllly proud of their work.

I was quoted over 10k from one vendor, under 3k from another for the same setup. When I order mine I know exactly where I'm going to get it.

Shop around, talk to some shops and see who takes the time to ask questions about your build/goals and doesn't try to overcharge you. That's what settled it for me.
