Do I need Alky/Meth injection?

I will be running a stock short block with some MTI 5.3 heads, D1SC pullied for 7-10 psi. Speed inc. sc1 blower cam and headers. Do you guys think i shoud get alky injection?

If yes which one do you guys think is the best one? I really appreciate your replies, THANKS.

It wouldn't hurt....A lot of people seem to use the Snow kit as well as the Alkycontrol kit

with 5.3 heads on a stock bottom end and 7-10psi I would say ummm..... YES, throw a thicker head gasket on there too...

i dont have a suggestion for your question but its always sad to read a sig that has r.i.p. written about a fallen f-body. it seems as if you really liked your old setup because you did the same mods on your new t/a.

Get the alky and get the ECS kit as Juilo really supports this system to make sure it works with your setup

What type of pump fuel do you have available locally? Are you willing to run 100 unleaded? That would be my first choice, if not I'd contact Julio at Alky Control.

Goto the ECS website or call Doug or Chris they will hook you up with this kit, I love the setup and I use it for protection more than for power with my setup

This kit helps to make sure I have enough fuel when I take my boost in excess of 10 lbs as I like to do on the open road, a little safety in my book goes along way with FI setups. When I hit 3 lbs of boost the meth starts spraying to make sure I have extra fuel to burn and not go lean.

The ECS kit is the C5 version of the Alky Cntrl kit.

you can make your own kit if you wanted to, you can use winshieldwasher fluid as well

just an idea.

Might consider selling your 5.3 heads and picking up some 6.0 heads instead of using that money on a meth kit. Would help lower compression at least. Good luck!
