Yeah, I'm going on the ninth... You missed the last one, TiimieG from SFR brought his home-grown 5.0 (not Fox-body, the last 5.0's) Twin Turbo set-up he built himself from scratch with forward-facing shorty headers... No exhausts, open dp's right in the engine bay, you would have loved to see this car... See you there, bro.

Im going with a similar set up. Hi flo kit with a Garrett T-70. Im shooting for 600 on 10lbs of boost. stock cube motor and Ill be swapping over to 6.0l heads. Think this sounds reasonable? I would also like a second tune for 12lbs on 110 octane and try to make 650hp. any good cam recomendations for this set up?

I like the idea of keeping the cam very small... One of the reasons I went turbo instead of ATI/Vortech was because I wanted a flatter curve... With a bigger cam, your powerband shifts higher in the RPM range, and I want to keep shifting at ~6k. Plus there is the danger of bleeding off boost if you pick the wrong cam. Mine is a traditional split, known to complement some turbocharged set-ups here in the Boosted List, at 224/228, with a high LSA to decrease overlap.

12 psi? Just stick to pump... If you plan to race 110 octane, take advantage of it and run more boost... Probably not with that turbo, though, JMO.

With that turbo, I believe you'll get to ~650 rwhp on stock cubes but borderline choking it. Z06 cam is a GREAT budget cam that keeps a nice powerband and has gotten some members here well over 800 rwhp.

you think a racetronics in tank FP and a MSD boost a pump will be enough to support the 650 im shooting for?

I have been doin the research also as far as fuel system for 650whp. I have come to the conclusion using the PNP racetronics pump with the boosta pump is good to go up to 650whp that is it. Its maxed out and considered bare bones minimal for the whp. It has no return and so forth, but I might run the setup with my turbo and 650whp.

You sure you want to run your fuel system that close to the margin?

It maybe enough on a SC'd setup, and maybe you'll get lucky yourselves, but let me tell what happened on my similar setup.

I was looking for a system to feed 700 RWHP, reading and being advised by sponsors, I got the following: Racetronix intank pump and pump harness, MSD BAP, #6 feed line with the stock line for the return, 60lb injectors, Nasty Nate fuel rails, and front-mount boost referenced regulator. Oh yeah, I have meth too. On a seriously fat early tune it ran out (pressure down in the 30s) at 550RW at like 4800RPMS. I think with the meth and a more polished tune that it'll prolly make 625ish, but that's still somewhat meth dependent. Other people seem to ave better results with this setup though.

I just don't know what to do exactly.... I don't want to hack up the fuel bucket to run 2 pumps because I don't want to have to worry about NEVER running it down past 1/4 tank so I'm looking at sumped or similar setups but damn.... I just want an easy streetable solution that doesn't require a monster pump and an expensive *** pump controller. It will probably be 2 external walbro in-lines with one of them switched on under boost.
