First Track Day For The Turbo Formy well it ran 8.5@ 99mph in the 1/8th with a 2.6 60. it only ran a 12.5 in the 1/4 @114. something broke, thinking its in the valve train. its ticking and backfiring at idle but still has "power". no smoking or anything just a lot of ticking. pulled hard in the 1/8 then fell off...big time. that was the only pass i got to make. then packed it up and came home. it was fun but it sucked.
That sucks, you get all excited to go out to the track and something breaks. Had that happen to me before in my old 95 eclipse GST. That ****** broke all the time. Hope you get everything fixed and update us with some new times when you get them.

you should see how i took off in the 60. i took off like i was at a red light. didnt rev it up just eased out like at a stop light. pretty funny for me bc im just use to dumping it but yeah it sucks i know. i figure its good for over 100 once i get it fiured out. we will have to see. i will look at that stuff tommorow or tuesday. got other things to do for now. but i will let you guys know when i get it taken care of
918's. they have less than 1k miles on them. i dont think its a spring. but it could be. going to pull the covers tommorow. i hope its just some push rods or something. high 10s would be great. i think it can go over 100 with a better 60. im tellin ya it looks like it died off of the line then takes off like a rocket
