I contacted the guys in regards to the MAFT Pro, however, they really do not know how to return phone calls, nor do they email information as they say they would provide. I have been sitting on a 2 bar MAP for weeks but it's been Rick to the rescue. Thanks MAFT Pro... For nothing...

why didnt you contact one of its distributers??? I know MAFt Pro is sold thru Full Throttle and they have a list of dealers on there page....... Harlan did the beta testing for the LS1 system and i know of no one else that has even done an LS1 with one...... sounds to me u only alled just them and didn wait very long for a call back...... Give us all some more info on what you needed and what all was done/sent.

I went to Full Throttle's forum page, downloaded the instructions and user manual. I called Full Throttle and spoke with one of the key guys, and I believe he advised he would refer me to "Billy" for LS1 specifics. It never happened. I made several phone calls. For someone willing to drop $400.00 on a theory, atleast provide information on the product. I am usually not too negative, but they offered nothing. If you check the information in the user manual. It is generic to the Grand National and Ricer turbo cars. Thats it. Nothing else

'Tis why i'm waiting for Harlan to finish up with the green ride before I buy it. For now I'll stick to Synergys 2 bar Car still runs great that way. After the green car is done, then "Hopefully" harlan will be open to us picking his brains about this set up.

That's precisely why I ran the first LS1 setup in my truck, and why I'm working out the kinks on a "real" install on Kyle's car.

So they can provide LSX info/setup details. With wiring, VE table, settings, etc.

As for the response from Full Throttle, I can't help much there. I'm not involved with them. I'm just feeding my results back to the manufacturer. I will pass on the info about their communication though.

Thanks Matt for the input. Like always you shed more light on subjects for the rest of us to learn from.

Umm yeah..... thats how my car is running now..... 10.0 on 12 psi and 9.26@150mph on 20 psi.

I drive it to work on 93 pump gas and 12-13 psi. Drove it everyday last week. Not a single problem with it.

Matt anything you would like to add??????

Kyle

HPT's 2 bar is an option

I am running that, no issues.

With or without MAF it works just fine.

Damn, not getting off easy

I'll have to collect my notes, and figure out something.

I just like the fact we ran Kyle's car at 13 psi, twisted the **** and ran 20 psi without changing anything else

Awesome being able to have it compensate for different boost levels is cool.

As for base tune(s) for FI LS1's will that be included with the MAFT PRO?

Harlan, if your planning to do a writeup - post it here so I can find it

Seems to be a really interesting alternative to going with FAST for my LT1. You know, us Lt1 guys run into the same trouble with boost as the 98 guys do because there's not anything available as far as a hacked OS for us... Just stuck halving tables and losing resolution if you dont have the dough for aftermarket ECM setup.

Im really interested in trying this on my car, and probably will. Would just like more info on how to tune the car when you essentially have two computers controlling the motor (MAFTPro & stock PCM w/LT1edit).

You can get a Pro now. It's been out for awhile, but the guys that make/market it have been focusing on the 4 cylinder guys/GN crowd mostly. I was the test case for a V8

Kyle's car was my next adventure with the Pro, making sure we could get it to play with the older PCM. I'll be feeding my info back so they can put together an LS1 setup procedure and base VE table to ship with the Pro.

I will say the closed loop WOT/wideband is pretty slick. Now that I have a trans back in the truck I'll be setting up the boost controller in the Pro.

'tis the reason I asked you directly

Figured you were the LS1tech/Maft pro liason and could ask questions of this nature in regards to the topic at hand....kinda the guy in the know...
